Make The Most Of It

When going to the gym I always make the most of the time I have. You see so many people running around, standing around and look lost. Why? They don't have a plan to make the most of the workout time.

You don't always have to have "a list' of your workout, that can be boring and tedious but you have to have a plan of action. I use body parts for my plan.

Right now I am still dealing with a shoulder and wrist injury but I don't let that stop me. I am working lower body and cardio. Making the most of my workout time, by planning my session out in advance.

Today workout was cardio on the glider for 20 minutes and then a leg glute workout for a total gym time of 45 minutes.
Cals burned 200
3x10 50lb Squats
3x10 55lb Laying glute press
3x10 40lb Standing glute press
15 Hyper extensions
3x10 20lb chest press just to work through my injury
3x10 25lb cable back rows

So many times people feel they need to spend hours at the gym, who has time? My advice is to have a plan, mix it up and make the most of the time you have. You can see great results working different body parts every workout faster then just going in and doing cardio till the cows come home.

Then I suggest that you record all the workouts that you did, with the amounts and monitor your progress. When I do my strength training workouts I always finish my last rep on my last set with my max weight, and push myself to get in atleast 3.

Try this the next time you do your training and see how quickly you see resutls!
