Nature!

I have been running and walking past this daisy for a few weeks.
I finally had my camera, and took a few shots.......
How amazing!



I spoted this shroom too......
I love the color.

And some random park photos where I walk........


Last night I got in some of the flowers,
its really shaping up!

Thanks for reading, oh........and I am taking the day off to get more potting soil.
20lb bags is enough of a workout, 10 more to get!

PROGRESS! The Barbie House Landscaping

I am finally nearing the end of the HUGE landscape project!
At The Barbie House :-)
Yay!
I have not done much in the way of workouts because it has sucked up most of my time and energy not to mention how sore I am.
So here are the plants I picked out...
Perennials so I won't have to do anything anymore, again
Yay!

Cute huh?
It is Blue Mirror Delphinium and Big Twister Rush

Plus I will be adding that plant at the end
Tuskegee Crape Myrtle its a dark pink/red.
The Crape Myrtle will "hide" the bowing part of the fence that I don't want to invest in and replace.

I think it looks great!
Just have to finish the end of the top row

Then I can plant :-)

It really helps the fence look straighter, and gives about 20" more of driveway space.
It will have to be paved, patched and sealed when done.
By someone else ;-)

Poppies!

The poppies are blooming!
I love them, and you can even see where I left off painting the fence, what a difference huh?

and....I got the last tree!
Front is complete, its a pussy willow tree and its lovely!

Pond flowers are filling in nice too.

You can barely see the tree but it is a fast growing tree so I think it will fill out fast. Its on the right side of the pond.

Now this is the weekend project.......

Started taking down the old retaining wall and will be putting the new one up.
I will also paint the timbers to match the fence.
(the right sideexcept for 2 panels and gate belong to my neighbor)

And the rubbish.......but you can tell how the fence looks amaizing!

A Night At Marriott Wright City MO!

A little trip out of town, for a Mud Run lead me to the Marriott Fairfield Inn in Wright City MO.
So of course I wore my new dress :-)
I just love it, and so comfy.......
I went to get another color!
The lobby was just to  my liking, very modern.
It was just recently built and you could tell.

Cool outdoor lights.....

Perfect sky......

The bed and all the touches were very textured.

The huge shower :-)

I love the flooring it was not cold on the feet or slippery.
Nice job Marriott!


Even the halls were colorful yet modern.

I love long hallways........

This one not so much.

Orange, love it.

Uber modern wanted it!

The tile in the shower, also wanted it.....basket weave super duper cool!

Fitness center, didn't use.......way to tired.
 
The pool, fabulous!

I give this  hotel a 10+
 
The staff very friendly and everything was set out nice, including the breakfast.
If your out neat St. Charles or Wentzville this is a great hotel.
I pre-booked at $107.
 
Well worth it!
