Small Space Patio Make Over!

T has been very busy making over The Barbie House!
I finally got the back yard done, with a patio and I love it so much! The space looks amazing now and I can have the girls over ;-)
This is my inspirational photo that I used:

And here is the start.........

Lots of digging and leveling.

I also moved some border pavers to make a new section by my rose of Sharon bush to tie it all in. I will be adding a blue planter there with flowers also.
I didn't want to cover where my poppies come up each year.

Ta-da........
Love it!

I am also going to add a fire pit, right on the edge on the right side from this photo. Moving that other planter in some towards the 2 entry pavers.
They are 16" each.

I also finished the side bed......and planted grass seed, this is the before.

This is the after........

......and the front pond. I moved some out the little rocks and added just mulch and I like the cleaner look, it showcases the rocks better.
And I added salvia next to the fence too.

Thanks for reading.........
This is 8'x8' and cost +$232.00

See how the wicker runs along the side of the glass?
Love it!

I can't put it outside till all the damage of the garage and wall are done but I can't wait to sit out and put up the matching umbrella and enjoy summer :-)

Oh, here is the garage damage, poor Barbie House!

Get A Happy Home In 3 Steps!

I love feng shui and this is a super duper easy way to a happier home!

Plus......
Here is a recipe to make your own feng shui, non-toxic, all purpose cleaner:
You need white vinegar, water and your orange essential oil. In feng shui, oranges and orange peels represent vibrant life, affirming happy energy. On a practical level orange oil disinfects, enhances your mood, and it just smells so good and clean. To make the non-toxic all-purpose cleaner, take one part vinegar to three parts water and add 18 drops of orange essential oil in an empty spray bottle. Then shake it up! This all-purpose solution is great for wiping down counters, windows, glass, bathroom surfaces, floors, etc. As a feng shui plus, the orange scent carries with it vibrant life energy to clear space, and in turn rejuvenates you and your home!

Want it too.............Find out more here:

For The Love of Landscaping!

The Barbie House Lanscape Project
COMPLETED!
I alternated the flowers with the Rush plants, they get about 2' by 2' so it should look very modern even filled in. (the blue flowers are Delphinium, at the end is  a Crape Myrtle in watermelon red)

I love it!

So pretty!

I like the wood with the bricks/stones.
I may add more grey paint to the stones not sure yet.

And the extra parking space next to garage is now open again......thats huge!!!

I know it looks orange but I like it next to the blue.
It is supposed to be natural cedar.

and here is all the rubish that has to be hauled off........

Still need to trim trees but I don't think I will do any more till fall.
T. is tired of shoveling and hauling.
Now its back to posting workouts and fun stuff ;-)
