Special K New Flatbread Breakfast Sandwiches

Do you like flatbread? Wow, I think its the. best. bread. ever.

If you like making garlic bread this stuff is the BOMB for it. So crunchy and delish just like brachetta. (spelling?)
Anyway I tried this product and I must say....... I just loved this new sandwich by Special K!

I had the Veggie one, and it was full of flavor, and only 140 cals. If you don't like or want the cheese because your vegan, you can easily take it off before you cook it. Here is how it looks when you take it out of the package.

and cooked.....

If you want to know my take on it..........

The Christmas Dress

I have always wanted a red dress, now I have one. I must admit, it is a size too big, but I am going to make it work. I always wear a 6 in a dress because of my back, wish I could say its my chest ha ha but nope. I ordered this dress on sale, really cheap at Kohls, and I ordered the black one too in the right size. They sold out of the red, which is like an orange red color that I adore.
I paired this will brown wedges and this great denim jacket, it is amazing!

Yesterday I went to the park at lunch and got in 3 miles. I can't complain the weather was in the high 50's and sunny. I really enjoyed it, and I think I could have stayed there all day!

This morning the sunrise was STUNNING! I had to snap a picture because I wanted to keep that colorful sky in my memory.
December 19th and look at it............wow!

Today was rest day on X2 so I did JM 30 day shred level 1.
Rocked it, just sayin'.

Its Christmas Time!

Me at the office, this is the Christmas tree in my area. I love the silver and gold, so pretty!
My girlfriend Diane and I celebrated Christmas this weekend. She got a wonderful dessert for us, it was a cheesecake with strawberries on top. YUM!
It was from McCarthurs!

On another note, I finished Insanity!
Finally me and Shaun T. can part ways, it was fun while it lasted......a major sweat fest!

Now it is day 2 of P90X2.
So far, boring. I know it may be because Insanity was such fast pace but this one is more about balance and using a foam roller. (which I already do)

The warm up is the same each workout, not like P90X which was different each one. I'm sure its easier to piece it together that way but if you get bored easy like I do, you may not like it.

My warm up is 50 Jacks, then P90X2 warm up without rolling. I am not following the meal plan on this, I am doing the Clean Eat magazine recipes. So its Christmas time, are you ready for Santa?

I am :-)

Hostoric Kimswick at Christmas

I got these great snowflakes from Linda on my facebook fan page, thanks!
I have a white tree so I decided to display them like this..........

This is Historic Kimswick, and during the holiday season they go all out with lights and it is so charming it is well worth the trip.
Here are some of the pictures I snapped, enjoy!

Some of the homes date back to the 1800's and have been saved and turned into great little unique shops.

And you can find many one of a kind things, and lots of friendly people too!

It was raining but I still felt the Christmas spirit everywhere.
They even have playing holiday music filling the air.

Most of the shops won't let you take pictures but this one did, and how cute is this display?

It is the Blue Owl Sweet shop, they sell Ice cream, and other fun gifts.

How cute is the tree that they have, you can't really see that it has candy all over it. I love the big pink barbie colored bow :-)

All the shops are open every day EXCEPT on Monday.

These little guys were adorable, and I love the tree sprig that lights up. Who knew lambs were so darn cute?

Talk about beautiful, can you imagine living in this house?

This is the famous Blue Owl Restaurant. I had lunch there, and they are known for pie. I had the cheesecake, it was amazing just like the food.

I tried to get a picture leaving once it was darker, but with the rain I decided to stay in the car. I know I won't melt, but we had been walking all afternoon in it.

I love this carriage, just image how people use to travel like this. I guess it took forever to get anywhere and you better like who your traveling with huh?

This was cute, but you can't tell it was all white with lots of white lights.

Then if you continue to the back of Kimswick I found this old structure. It is across from the river and I just wonder if it used to be a huge castle?

The gates we amazing but I did not get a picture of them.

This is the Anheuser Estate
It is a working farm, and you can visit it in the spring and fall.
You can barley see the horses.......

Then there is this historical bridge I was just facinated with.
The Windsor Harbor Road bridge

It was moved to this spot and saved

How cool is the iron works?

I love how it looks and that they kept the wooden parts too.

If you have never been you really should take a trip to Kimswick, even if its not during the holidays the Christmas Haus is open all year!

New Bikram Hot Yoga Midwest!

Image: www.Freedigitalphotos.net

Recently opened is the new Bikram Hot Yoga Midwest, and I can't wait to try it! I have never done the "real" 26 pose sequence that Bikram is known for but I love hot Yoga!

Well all Yoga actually, that is why I teach it but I would love to check this place out.
Open on Sunday yay! Since I usually teach on Saturdays it is really hard for me to do both but I could do the late Saturday or the Sunday.

The St. Louis Schedule for Bikram Hot Yoga is:• Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 10 am, 4 pm, and 6 pm
• Tuesday and Thursday – 6:30 am, 4 pm, and 6 pm
• Saturday – 10 am and 2 pm
• Sunday 12 pm and 4 pm

Pricing is basically the same as most places, but they do offer a first time one month for $39 bucks so you can't go wrong with that. Also they use Mindbody software so its easy to sign up on line.

New Running Shoes!

I'm not sure how these shoes would be but I think they are a fun concept, and heck with over 200 "Likes" they must be popular!
I have Fila running shoes I use at lunch, but they are not my favorite brand for my feet. And you have to have the brand that works for you, or the shoe that fits wee.
(Shoe Images: www.Kohls.com)

These are my new running shoes, my Nike Initiator yay!

Got them on sale, plus used my coupon = total with tax $26 bucks and some change, cha-ching!
Love Kohl's for workout shoes!

I have no idea why shoes are so colorful now, who wants all these colors? If its true that the baby boomers have all the money they are we the ones buying these?

Can't wait to give these a try this weekend, if the rain holds out.
