The Bathroom from OMG

Beware!
This is my bathroom that needs a major repair job. I know your thinking it looks so cute and yes it does, for the Barbie house of course because I love to decorate.

My lovely small bathroom......now comes the nightmare behind the curtain....

This is the cast iron tub that needs re-glazed and the surround that is falling apart. The big problem is that the Barbie house is so small you can't fit a new tub in the house. So it would be best to have a surround replaced with tile. When I finally get enough money to do this project, then and only then will T. get to take a long fabulous bubble bath that I miss so much.

Anyone that has ideas on this, to make it cost efficient let me know.
Thanks!

CLUB FITNESS Has IDIOT Trainers!

I am STEAMING MAD at IDIOT TRAINERS at Club Fitness!
www.clubfitness.us/

First off most of them are not very good, and since I have been there from day 1 when this location opened I have seen some come and go. I will say that there are 2 good trainers, one is a man, the other class instructor. (also I am not taking about the instructors that are Club Fitness employees) I'm not saying that to be critical, I am saying it because YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

I know you saying....T. What? Your ripping on trainers? Yes, and the reasons are because of the following: (Yeah I like lists, see my blog on that)

Idiot Trainer List:

1. Most of the time they walk around chatting - SHUT UP and train!
2. They use the weight area, the main isle, and every corner of the gym... AT THE SAME TIME!
3. Leaving weights, bands, busu, balls and everything else RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GYM!
4. They never help anyone out, doing a wrong or HURTFUL MOVEMENT
5. When you try to use an area they are in they act like YOUR in the way!

I'm DONE! I pay my money too!

Today this trainer was in the weight area, and working outside doing a bootcamp style workout with 2 clients. Going in and out and leaving everything in the way of me and 3 other lifters. Plus taking all the DB/BB outside with them as well as leaving them in the middle of the area for someone to trip on or move for them.

TAKE IT OUTSIDE IF YOUR GOING TO TRAIN BOOTCAMP STYLE!

So I'm doing walking BB lunges and have to move a 10lb DB with my foot and this trainer looks at me like I'm in HIS WAY! Man, I almost jetted that 20lb BB right across his body. Do you think he could have reached over and moved the DB while HIS CLIENTS WERE ON THE LEG PRESS MACHINE? NO of course not, he is an IDIOT TRAINER! So I thought, play nice T. Don't let bully T. out of the box OR you will take down this scrappy little trainer!

I found my mantra, even though the other lifter was eyeing me just waiting to see what I was going to do. I was steamed to say the least, and really I wanted to LOCK the door when they went back outside on him and his clients so he would have to know what its like to be inconvenienced. That's a long walk around that BIG building, and believe me he could have knocked and me and the other lifer would have gladly IGNORED HIM with our Ipods on.

I can't imagine how it is during a peak time of the day please!

As most of you know I workout at Club Fitness for 2 reasons:
1. Its Cheap = $22 a month
2. Its very close to my home = 1.5 miles

I workout in the time slot of 6am-7am or on an early day that I do a class I am there at 5.50am. I am over it, just had to vent and someone please become trainers for Club Fitness they need all the good trainers they can get!

Last night my detox was GREAT! I was so glad that only yellow and brown showed up which is liver mostly. I did not feel any different but I did feel refreshed after waking up this morning. They say the effects are in about 24-72 hours afterwards.

Would I recommend a Foot Detox?

Yes! Just for the knowledge of knowing more about your body and wellness of your organs. I learned a lot.

Ever Have A Foot Detoxification?

I'm Getting A Foot Detoxification Tonight!

Last night I went to my "other" chiropractor to get my FREE birthday adjustment. This doctor Dr. Casey is close to my home, and I have been with him for about 7 years. He now has a big office and offers more services, like massage and detoxification.

A few things came out of this meeting, of course my adjustment that was wonderful but also my shoulder injury. See I showed him that when I try to do a rotation the thing makes a "popping crunchy" noise. Also I told him I can't do a full push up all the way down or lateral movements. It was confirmed its not my rotators cup but muscle/joint related.

Well he did 3 moves on this and PUT IT BACK IN PLACE!

Holy cow, this thing has been messed up since like 8 months now. I was thrilled and even though it kinda hurt like the bee jeebies its much better today. I can't wait to do my lifts tomorrow and see how I feel. I also decided that today I would take my cardio off, did not want to strain after my adjustment and with all the stuff he did better rest then sorry. I will still get in my 30-40 minute incline at lunch today, its so nice I may even run. Go T.

So next he tells me he is doing foot detox, and I can have a first visit for FREE!

Sign me up!

I was beaming to get this done, I have heard about this and the more I learn in the wellness field the better I get at advising my opinions since I have actually experienced it right?

Have you ever had a Foot Detox?

If so did you like it?

I thought I would share some information I found online about it. He tells me that they use sea salt.

What happens during a therapeutic detox foot bath, and how long do you need to take them?

Foot Detox:
You immerse your feet in warm water [do not use distilled water or reverse osmosis water]. The machine is set to the correct settings and ionization levels. Then you sit back and relax for 35 minutes while the machine completes its cycle. The suggested protocol for adults of all ages is to use the machine every other day for 14 sessions (about 1 month). After that, take a break for a week. You can then start over with every other day for 14 sessions, and either continue on that program, or start using it as desired. Children under 4 years of age should not use the foot spa: Age 4-7 years = 10 - 15 minutes, Age 8- 12 years = 15 - 20 minutes, Age 13 - 17 years = 20 - 35 minutes. You may see the excreted toxins, including parasites, in the water. THIS SOUNDS IKY!!

The water may change color and consistency from orange, brown through to black -- due to the release of toxic substances through the 2000 pores (WHAT 2000 PORES OMG!) on the sole of each foot. There may be lymphatic fat or mucous floating on the water. Note: Depending on your geographical region, the water may not change colors, but the same detoxification effects still occur. Water will also change color without any body parts immersed. Click here for more details regarding water color change.

What is the significance of color?
Believe it or not, it is important to eat a variety of colorful foods in order to assure balanced chemistry. Every color is a chemical and has a chemical value. Chemical components of foods contribute to their acid-alkaline balance.

As a general rule here is how the color of foods work:
Green Foods nourish the immune system, especially the liver and gall bladder.

Red Foods nourish the endocrine system, including the pituitary gland, as well as the heart and small intestines.

Orange Foods nourish the joints.

Yellow Foods nourish the digestive system, including the spleen, stomach, and pancreas.

Yellow-Green foods nourish the kidney, bladder, urinary tract, female/prostate area..

Brown Foods nourish the liver.

White Foods nourish the respiratory system, namely the lungs, but also the large intestines, lymphatic system and skin.

Black Foods nourish the circulatory system, kidneys, liver, gallbladder and bladder.

By the same token, when the water is changing colors, each color represents the part of the body that is being detoxified. One of the most visual effects is the discoloration of the water, but while the color changes in the water can be dramatic, it is not the most important factor and one must be careful about making any judgments based only on the water color.

I wonder what colors I will see?

What Can Cinnamon do for YOU?

This is kind of long and an older article, but worth the read.

YUM! I have ALWAYS loved cinnamon and lately I am eating more and more of it as a good spice for my current diet. Yeah its a tough one right now.

Do you use cinnamon?

Then a few days ago a girl at work said her doctor told her to add it to her diet, so I thought I would see all the things cinnamon does for the body. Everytime I go by one of those Cinnabon places my heart melts and so does my mouth, but I just walk on by enjoying the smells....so tempting till you see how many cals are in one of those BOMBS!

My mom used to mix it in a container with just a dash of sugar for toast, and I have added it to cocoa and coffee. Now I add it to yogurt, and cottage cheese and I'm really enjoying it and the health benefits too that I just found out.

I wonder how it would taste in peanut butter?

When I get to have that back in my diet, I am going to try it I already like honey and syrup in my peanut butter so why not? Just sayin......

I did notice the calorie count on this, and on my food log it comes up Zero, I guess I will have to change that.

Enjoy the read, and I added some highlights too.

The Health Benefits of Cinnamon:

Cinnamon does not only taste good, it also contains many health benefits such as: Anti-Clotting and Anti-Microbial actions, Blood Sugar Control, it boosts Brain Function, it's Calcium and Fiber protect against Heart Disease and improve Colon Health, among other things.

Cinnamon, ground
Although available throughout the year, the fragrant, sweet and warm taste of cinnamon is a perfect spice to use during the winter months. Cinnamon has a long history both as a spice and as a medicine. It is the brown bark of the cinnamon tree, which is available in its dried tubular form known as a quill or as ground powder. The two varieties of cinnamon, Chinese and Ceylon, have similar flavor, however the cinnamon from Ceylon is slightly sweeter, more refined and more difficult to find in local markets.

Health Benefits
Cinnamon’s unique healing abilities come from three basic types of components in the essential oils found in its bark. These oils contain active components called cinnamaldehyde, cinnamyl acetate, and cinnamyl alcohol, plus a wide range of other volatile substances.

Anti-Clotting Actions
Cinnamaldehyde (also called cinnamic aldehyde) has been well-researched for its effects on blood platelets. Platelets are constituents of blood that are meant to clump together under emergency circumstances (like physical injury) as a way to stop bleeding, but under normal circumstances, they can make blood flow inadequate if they clump together too much. The cinnaldehyde in cinnamon helps prevent unwanted clumping of blood platelets. (The way it accomplishes this health-protective act is by inhibiting the release of an inflammatory fatty acid called arachidonic acid from platelet membranes and reducing the formation of an inflammatory messaging molecule called thromboxane A2.) Cinnamon's ability to lower the release of arachidonic acid from cell membranes also puts it in the category of an “anti-inflammatory” food that can be helpful in lessening inflammation.

Anti-Microbial Activity
Cinnamon’s essential oils also qualify it as an “anti-microbial” food, and cinnamon has been studied for its ability to help stop the growth of bacteria as well as fungi, including the commonly problematic yeast Candida. In laboratory tests, growth of yeasts that were resistant to the commonly used anti-fungal medication fluconazole was often (though not always) stopped by cinnamon extracts.

Cinnamon’s antimicrobial properties are so effective that recent research demonstrates this spice can be used as an alternative to traditional food preservatives. In a study, published in the August 2003 issue of the International Journal of Food Microbiology, the addition of just a few drops of cinnamon essential oil to 100 ml (approximately 3 ounces) of carrot broth, which was then refrigerated, inhibited the growth of the foodborne pathogenic Bacillus cereus for at least 60 days. When the broth was refrigerated without the addition of cinnamon oil, the pathogenic B. cereus flourished despite the cold temperature. In addition, researchers noted that the addition of cinnamon not only acted as an effective preservative but improved the flavor of the broth.(October 1, 2003)

Blood Sugar Control
Cinnamon may significantly help people with type 2 diabetes improve their ability to respond to insulin, thus normalizing their blood sugar levels. Both test tube and animal studies have shown that compounds in cinnamon not only stimulate insulin receptors, but also inhibit an enzyme that inactivates them, thus significantly increasing cells’ ability to use glucose. Studies to confirm cinnamon’s beneficial actions in humans are currently underway with the most recent report coming from researchers from the US Agricultural Research Service, who have shown that less than half a teaspoon per day of cinnamon reduces blood sugar levels in persons with type 2 diabetes. Their study included 60 Pakistani volunteers with type 2 diabetes who were not taking insulin. Subjects were divided into six groups. For 40 days, groups 1, 2 and 3 were given 1, 3, or 6 grams per day of cinnamon while groups 4, 5 and 6 received placebo capsules. Even the lowest amount of cinnamon, 1 gram per day (approximately ¼ to ½ teaspoon), produced an approximately 20% drop in blood sugar; cholesterol and triglycerides were lowered as well. When daily cinnamon was stopped, blood sugar levels began to increase. (December 30, 2003)

Test tube, animal and human studies have all recently investigated cinnamon’s ability to improve insulin activity, and thus our cells’ ability to absorb and use glucose from the blood. On going in vitro or test tube research conducted by Richard Anderson and his colleagues at the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center is providing new understanding of the mechanisms through which cinnamon enhances insulin activity. In their latest paper, published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Anderson et al. characterize the insulin-enhancing complexes in cinnamon—a collection of catechin/epicatechin oligomers that increase the body’s insulin-dependent ability to use glucose roughly 20-fold.. Some scientists had been concerned about potentially toxic effects of regularly consuming cinnamon. This new research shows that the potentially toxic compounds in cinnamon bark are found primarily in the lipid (fat) soluble fractions and are present only at very low levels in water soluble cinnamon extracts, which are the ones with the insulin-enhancing compounds. A recent animal study demonstrating cinnamon’s beneficial effects on insulin activity appeared in the December 2003 issue of Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice.

CHECK THIS PART OUT:
In this study, when rats were given a daily dose of cinnamon (300 mg per kilogram of body weight) for a 3 week period, their skeletal muscle was able to absorb 17% more blood sugar per minute compared to that of control rats, which had not received cinnamon, an increase researchers attributed to cinnamon’s enhancement of the muscle cells’ insulin-signaling pathway.

In humans with type 2 diabetes, consuming as little as 1 gram of cinnamon per day was found to reduce blood sugar, triglycerides, LDL (bad) cholesterol, and total cholesterol, in a study published in the December 2003 issue of Diabetes Care. The placebo-controlled study evaluated 60 people with type 2 diabetes (30 men and 30 women ranging in age from 44 to 58 years) who were divided into 6 groups. Groups 1, 2, and 3 were given 1, 3, or 6 grams of cinnamon daily, while groups 4, 5, and 6 received 1, 3 or 6 grams of placebo. After 40 days, all three levels of cinnamon reduced blood sugar levels by 18-29%, triglycerides 23-30%, LDL cholesterol 7-27%, and total cholesterol 12-26%, while no significant changes were seen in those groups receiving placebo. The researchers’ conclusion: including cinnamon in the diet of people with type 2 diabetes will reduce risk factors associated with diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.(January 28, 2004)

HOW ABOUT THIS ON HFCS!!!
The latest research on cinnamon shows that by enhancing insulin signaling, cinnamon can prevent insulin resistance even in animals fed a high-fructose diet!

A study published in the February 2004 issue of Hormone Metabolism Research showed that when rats fed a high-fructose diet were also given cinnamon extract, their ability to respond to and utilize glucose (blood sugar) was improved so much that it was the same as that of rats on a normal (control) diet.

AND AN ANTIOXIDANT TOO WOO WOO......
Cinnamon is so powerful an antioxidant that, when compared to six other antioxidant spices (anise, ginger, licorice, mint, nutmeg and vanilla) and the chemical food preservatives (BHA (butylated hydroxyanisole), BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene), and propyl gallate), cinnamon prevented oxidation more effectively than all the other spices (except mint) and the chemical antioxidants. (May 6, 2004)

Cinnamon's Scent Boosts Brain Function
Not only does consuming cinnamon improve the body’s ability to utilize blood sugar, but just smelling the wonderful odor of this sweet spice boosts brain activity! Research led by Dr. P. Zoladz and presented April 24, 2004, at the annual meeting of the Association for Chemoreception Sciences, in Sarasota, FL, found that chewing cinnamon flavored gum or just smelling cinnamon enhanced study participants’ cognitive processing. Specifically, cinnamon improved participants’ scores on tasks related to attentional processes, virtual recognition memory, working memory, and visual-motor speed while working on a computer-based program. Participants were exposed to four odorant conditions: no odor, peppermint odor, jasmine, and cinnamon, with cinnamon emerging the clear winner in producing positive effects on brain function. Encouraged by the results of these studies, researchers will be evaluating cinnamon’s potential for enhancing cognition in the elderly, individuals with test-anxiety, and possibly even patients with diseases that lead to cognitive decline. (May 9, 2004)

Calcium and Fiber Improve Colon Health and Protect Against Heart Disease
In addition to its unique essential oils, cinnamon is an excellent source of the trace mineral manganese and a very good source of dietary fiber, iron and calcium. The combination of calcium and fiber in cinnamon is important and can be helpful for the prevention of several different conditions. Both calcium and fiber can bind to bile salts and help remove them from the body. By removing bile, fiber helps to prevent the damage that certain bile salts can cause to colon cells, thereby reducing the risk of colon cancer. In addition, when bile is removed by fiber, the body must break down cholesterol in order to make new bile. This process can help to lower high cholesterol levels, which can be helpful in preventing atherosclerosis and heart disease. For sufferers of irritable bowel syndrome, the fiber in cinnamon may also provide relief from constipation or diarrhea. A Traditional Warming Remedy In addition to the active components in its essential oils and its nutrient composition, cinnamon has also been valued in energy-based medical systems, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, for its warming qualities. In these traditions, cinnamon has been used to provide relief when faced with the onset of a cold or flu, especially when mixed in a tea with some fresh ginger. Description Cinnamon is the brown bark of the cinnamon tree, which when dried, rolls into a tubular form known as a quill. Cinnamon is available in either its whole quill form (cinnamon sticks) or as ground powder. While there are approximately one hundred varieties of Cinnamonum verum (the scientific name for cinnamon), Cinnamonum zeylanicum (Ceylon cinnamon) and Cinnamomun aromaticum (Chinese cinnamon) are the leading varieties consumed. Ceylon cinnamon is also referred to as “true cinnamon”, while the Chinese variety is known as “cassia”. While both are relatively similar in characteristics and both feature a fragrant, sweet and warm taste, the flavor of the Ceylon variety is more refined and subtle. Ceylon cinnamon is more rare in North America than the cassia, the less expensive variety, which is the most popular in the United States.

History
Cinnamon is one of the oldest spices known. It was mentioned in the Bible and was used in ancient Egypt not only as a beverage flavoring and medicine, but also as an embalming agent. It was so highly treasured that it was considered more precious than gold. Around this time, cinnamon also received much attention in China, which is reflected in its mention in one of the earliest books on Chinese botanical medicine, dated around 2,700 B.C. Cinnamon’s popularity continued throughout history. It became one of the most relied upon spices in Medieval Europe. Due to its demand, cinnamon became one of the first commodities traded regularly between the Near East and Europe. Ceylon cinnamon is produced in Sri Lanka, India, Madagascar, Brazil and the Caribbean, while cassia is mainly produced in China, Vietnam and Indonesia.

Sparkle eucalyptus, I think its for Christmas but I love the glitters

Can you see the tips?

2 of the fabrics, see how wonderful that green glittery snakey one is? I think its going to really show off the bottle. The safari fabric will be laid out on the white table cloth with our demonstrating bottles in a cooler on top along with a burgundy binder that tells you about the product. I have about 4 plexi signs, that will be used with information/signs and one that says Free health demonstrations, and a sign up sheet.

Here is what our product looks like, I think its going to be all pulled together with just enough sparkle don't you?

I'm very happy with my decorating goodies and will take pictures of the table once I get it together tomorrow morning. I have some risers to put the bottle on and a really matching gift bag that I will add the eucalyptus in with some tissue paper white of course and it will say: "Give yourself the gift of better health"

Last night my massage was wonderful!

50 minutes of complete bliss! Next time I am going for the hot rock massage, ever have one? I started to get certified in this area once, its big in Arizona but never did. I'm just too cheap to pay for one its expensive in STL so now I am going to with this school cause its way cheap! What the heck even if its not that perfect it will be worth $25! I also like the fact that I am helping others.

My guy, Tim was very good. Although he was a bit off on flow, other then that he will do well in the field. I did enjoy that he actually put my arm behind my back, and got my whole shoulder blade back area. I have never had anyone do that, it was heavenly with all those push ups I do! Lat bliss woo woo.

I slept super-duper great and I got up and hit the weights with avenges! Not sure if I am getting stronger but I am still sweating like crazy.

I'm Addicted To Craigslist!

Today this little guy went home with me from the gym, I hope he had a great workout!
He matched my Green Monster I had today, it was with banana and whey.

It was kinda cute, he was hanging on for "dear life" as I was flying home around 50 mph he stayed right with me on the MINI

He was right on the window edge and I could see his little face staring at me eyes closed there was nothing I could do. I did not notice he had hitched a ride with me until I was blazing down the road and started to put the window down to cool off from my ROCKSTAR cardio session. Poor guy, bet he wont do that again. Of course he looked a bit frazzled as rescued him and put him in the grass, sorry little guy you can eat my flowers now.

Off to my workout, I was hotter then blazes kicking 400 cals to the curb.

Workout = Straight cardio
Mood = Go T. go!
Wt = 116 (now thats more like it)
Time of workout = 40 mins
Cals burned = 400

First mile 12.15
Second mile 11.75
Total = 2 1/2 miles 6800 steps

I varied from 12-20 incline with a 4 resistance level
10 chair squats (10 more at lunch)

I know I promised to post my pictures for my vendor fair this weekend but I did not get around to it, but I did get in a walk after dinner.

I hate to say this...but I am addicted to selling on Craigslist!

Oh my... I did not get my decorations for the table posted, because I was busy taking MORE pictures of stuff I can sell. I have just found out I have too much stuff and not enough cash....green backs, big bucks, moooolah. So after my lovely massage tonight I will load all the pictures up and blog about it.

I was thinking, I have way to many designer hand bags, SELL! I have too much office equipment and nick nacks, SELL! Harley leather wear, SELL! A extra laptop SELL!

It's true most women are shoppers (alright I am too, that's how I got all this stuff right?) but since I just LOVE collecting money the most, this is more fun then a garage sale and a whole lot LESS hassle. If you have never tried it, you can find anything and everything on there its a blast. You can even shop compare, to know what to price your stuff at. Way cooler then E-bay. I'm doing cash and carry ONLY.
http://www.craigslist.com/

What can you sell?

This money is going to go towards:
New Bedding set (which T. ordered last night and will arrive in 8-10 biz days)
2 Night stands (I saw at Target online but won't order till cash is in hand!)
the rest $$$ to Savings/T's Foundation

I'm just so darn excited, I rescued a grasshopper and now I'm getting my house cleaned out and making extra money....I am BLESSED!

Do You Want Results?

Do You WANT Fitness Results?

Rich's Custard on Telegraph my enemy right now! Won't get a result eating this thats for sure, but it is heavenly.

How are you doing today?

I'm OUTSTANDING! (Try this reply, you will like the results you get from people when they ask you and you reply like this)

Darn, last night I wanted to take some pictures of my decorations for the vendor fair this weekend we are going to be in. I got busy with some studies with other things I am working on, and BAM the night was over.

Of course I could always go decorating crazy but I kept the budget of $25 for everything. I also borrowed 4 sign holders from my office that the marketing director let me use. Now I have 6 total and that should be perfect. Maybe I can get those done tonight.

This week my carbs have been higher the last 2 days and I am going to think that is what caused my 1/2lb weight gain. Most were good carbs, but still being over on any of my macros right now will not get the results we are wanting. Buh bye muffy top!

Its SO hard to be SO dedicated, you really have to want a result!

Do you know that feeling?

I mean this morning during my warm up on the elliptical the "model" channel station was left on, and talk about motivation! I was like I better kick it up a notch today so I can look like that! Nah not really, but I did love the outfits and the hair styles. They are so creative with that I enjoy seeing and then trying to copy it. I love being ME.

Off to the workouts this week, and my feelings/moods.

I have been feeling better then ever, getting hungry when I should and my back and knees are holding up terrific. All good stuff. I finished my off day Monday with P90X stretch much needed and Thursday night is my massage, can't wait! Tuesday was cardio day and I kicked it in high gear but only getting a 12 min mile, still don't get that. I'm going with that lack of sleep on that one. I still kicked 285 cals to the curb, then got in a 40 minute incline walk at lunch.
Again all good stuff.

I had some diet pitfalls so far this week, a few Doritos and a few bites of Ben and Jerry's....complete sugar rush. OMG. I am over that, and feeling satisfied to continue with my diet goals with SUCCESS!

Here is my workout today and just for fun I added assisted pullups and oblique crunches:

Brain Food?

Yesterday I talked about an Idea journal and I am loving this, so far I am going to set aside time each night to log these reflections. Today I want to talk about programming your mind with what you are feeding it.

What do you feed your mind?

It is very important in my opinion to feed your mind with positive things and with what you want to accomplish. It does bring things to you, really it does. What you think, draws those things to you. Just like feeding your body the right foods, you get the right results, same concept.

Take time to marvel over what you want, and put that mindset to work for you and see what happens. Then set out a plan to make things happen, its that simple. Feed your mind like your body with the fuel it needs to accomplish that goal. Surround yourself with the people that believe in you, and want you to succeed. If they are not supportive and like minded, then you are not feeding yourself what you need to reach the goal.

Examples of this are simple:
Want to be a good teacher, hang out with great teachers
Want to be a trainer, hang out with trainers
Want to be a net worker, hang out with net workers

Read things from people that are great at what they do, turn off the TV and get the fuel you need.

Pick the "doer's" in life if you want to be actively improving your life. If you are happy with your life then stay where you are, but if you are wanting to make changes then feed your mind and body with things that will do just that.

Your mind processes positive thoughts better then negative thoughts, go figure. Yet we mostly hear the negatives so you really have to work on pushing out that thought process and replace it with the positives.

What do you feed your mind?

I'm feeding mine the right food..........

Idea Journals

Is this a cool idea or what? If your a runner this may need to be on your holiday list, I love this and thought I would share.

www.shoewallet.com/

How about this idea? I'm hungry just reading this, and its all natural.

www.washboardwaffles.com/index.php

After this I need a towel off....with some motivation!

www.inperspire.com/workout-towels-inpiration-s/3.htm

I just thought I would share some links today that I found very interesting and yet so simple. Sometimes just getting my creative juices flowing with fitness happens when I see other ideas. Simple is good and yet so many times we try to complicate things.

Is it because we are female?

Massive list makers?

Frantic multi-taskers?

Talk-a-holics?

Not sure, but I am working on being more centered, more focused on where I want my life to go and my purpose to be full of passion.

So I guess I am thinking that the best way for me to keep the direction correct is to eliminate each time I am off course.

I am going to keep and "Idea journal", a Feedback booklet.

Each times something works GREAT, I will list it under the keep ideas. Each time something does not work for me, I will list it in the Don't keep ideas.

This way, I can see how I am succeeding and what is working so that I may fine tune these to be even better, more successful and less worried about an outcome that I don't want to happen.

Simple = Success

Are Cell Phones Killing You? NUTRAZON Protects!

Are Cell Phones Killing You?
www.healthycellphoneuse.com/
This link shows you how to protect yourself from cell phone use and harmful EMF and radiation effects

http://www.wil92.com/
WIL Radio Nominated for CMA Award

Its true, on Thursday September 10th 2009 Annie the producer from WIL Cornbread show got a demonstration on how her cell phone is effecting her brain by Dwayne Miller.

This product Nutrazon was given to her after showing her how using her cell phone disrupts the brain, effecting her with electro magnetic radiation which can cause cancer. After immediatly taking Nutrazon, cell phones are no longer negatively effecting the body and the brain, protecting you from harmful EMF.

Annie and Cornbread were amazed!

They did video this event and will be posting in on there website in the near future, they could not believe how fast this product worked.

There is also a site for more information with cell phones that are listed as the highest radiation ratings at EWG Environmental working group.

If your interested in protecting yourself from harmful cellphone radiation, or just want more information on using your cell phone safely or to place an order of Nutrazon you can go to

Keeping Enthusiasm

Have you ever noticed when you start something new, it is so exciting and motivates you that you can't even sleep at night?

Like for instance, a new opportunity, a new job/career, a new relationship, a new house or any new move you make in your life.....its so new you just can't help but tell everyone about it. Wow it is something else, you share with everyone you come in contact with.....its like a rush of adrenaline!

How do you keep that enthusiasm?

Well I feel there are many ways you can try to capture that feeling and hold on to it. Some of these can pertain to personal things, fitness things, or business things.

When something is new, you have to figure things out. Its like a new puzzle and because you are now challenged with this new thing going on you want to make it just right and keep that rush feeling. But that will fade, just like stages in a relationship they call this the "infatuation" stage. Where you see no flaws, you are seeing what you want to see out of the person. Then reality of "comfort zone" sets in and you see things as they really are, and analyze things to see if they are going to fit your needs. If they do, you become comfortable with the day to day process.

Of course, anything comfortable can get stale.....how to you re-gain that enthusiasm and new feelings? You search for ways to be creative. You play a game with yourself to make it new. Find a piece that was missing or replace a piece with something better. Like driving the same way to work everyday......it never challenges you, you see nothing new.....step out and take a different way, you will be surprised how it energizes you!

In your fitness plan, if you have been doing the same routine, mix it up. Make it new, find a new piece of equipment and try it!

In your personal life, find a way to show someone you care in different way. Leave a note, a surprise call, send a card.

In your work/career life, find a new approach, educate yourself more, become and expert on yourself, make it fresh..how can I do this better?

Do things differently then you have, and bring back the newness...the enthusiasm that will help to keep it from wearing off....

It may not be the exactly the same feeling, but it will still have the excitement and your attention it had from the start....

There Is A Shoe God!

Yes there is a shoe God, really.

Thank you all for the comments on my video and with the help of the greek yogurt, I'm so much wiser because of YOU and Sparks! Feel the love K?

Get this I was out of ink for my printer so I went to my local Office Max to get a new supply. Well I was happy that they were having a 20% off sale anything you put in the brown bag. You know those marketing people are so clever! Give you a HUGE great big paper bag and say fill it and get 20% off your whole order, everything you fit in the bag.

Oh, well I only needed one things, so forget filling up that HUGE brown bag with my cashola! Anyway I got my ink and my receipt (you know for a tax write off) and out pops a second receipt. At first I did not even look at it and just stuffed it in my wallet.....again because of those marketing geniuses, I thought it was a survey form. Tell us how were doing and we will give you a PUNEY 10% off, its not even worth the cell phone minutes. Please up this to 15% companies, don't you know we are in a recession. Obviously NOT for big giant companies that's for sure. That's only a buck on $10 which doesn't even pay the gas to come back to the store. Ok, I'm over it....so anyways I headed home with my goodie, and my $3.20 savings.

I got home to file my receipt like a good girl keeping her business in order and B-A-M!

Its a $5 off $25 purchase at Payless Shoes!

Woo woo there is someone watching over T. because as most of you know that read my blog......that's my favorite shoe store!
www.payless.com/store/
Who knew?

The shoe Gods knew that's who!

Ever have a cool thing like that happen to you? Get a coupon you could really use and not a product they want you to try? What is that all about anyway?

Here is my workout today:
9/1
Wt - 116
Mood - Restless not a good night sleep
Workout - Run after work & Swift Fit Challenge

I'm really seeing my abs pop!
